Anglo-Polish legal relations after Brexit
Conference in memory of
His Honour George Dobry CBE QC (1918-2018)
co-creator of the British Law Centre
Looking Backwards: Looking Forwards
The conference reflects on the past and present contributions to Anglo-Polish legal relations of HH George Dobry’s CBE QC’s legal projects (most notably the British Law Centre and the Slynn Foundation). It takes place in what is expected to be the first week after Brexit and discusses a range of legal issues which may need to be reassessed post-Brexit, including various aspects of commercial and banking law, criminal law, constitutional law and human rights. It discusses a wide range of legal challenges and opportunities facing the UK and Poland, both individually and collectively, and considers how relations between the two countries will look in the coming years.
There is a hugely impressive list of speakers, including British and Polish experts who are renowned in their respective fields.
The conference is kindly supported by both the OIRP and ORA in Warsaw. KDZ points are awarded by ORA (8 points) and OIRP (5 points) for attendance in this conference. To register for such points, please complete the form below.
